Mango home strengthens its presence in the domestic market as it arrives in Madrid

    • Mango Home is opening its first standalone store in Alcobendas, its fourth worldwide and its first in the region of Madrid, strengthening its home line’s positioning following openings in Barcelona and Zaragoza.
    • The company is reinforcing its commitment to physical stores as spaces for connecting with its customers and, in line with its 4E Strategic Plan, is moving forward to drive growth across all its business lines.
    • Since launching in 2021, Mango Home has more than doubled in size and now operates in 34 online markets, mainly in Europe and the United States. The line has also expanded its commercial offering from 1,600 products in 2024 to nearly 6,000 in 2025, with new categories for every room in the home, including lighting, baby and kids, and fragrances.

Mango Home is strengthening its presence in the home sector by opening a store in Alcobendas tomorrow, Saturday. This will be its fourth worldwide and its first in the region of Madrid. Located in the Moraleja Green shopping centre, the new store boasts a 255 m² sales area and a team of over 10 people. Designed to resemble a real home, it offers customers ideas for every room and provides a warm and inspiring shopping experience.

In line with the objectives of the company’s 4E 2024-2026 Strategic Plan, which aims to promote growth and visibility across all its business lines, Mango Home is furthering its expansion and consolidating the potential of its home range. Since launching in 2021, the line has more than tripled in size and is currently available in 34 online markets, mainly in Europe and the United States. This year, Mango Home has taken another step forward with the creation of dedicated physical stores, opening four new ones— two in Barcelona, one in Zaragoza and now one in Madrid — and thus advancing its growth strategy and introducing its home universe to an increasingly wider audience.

Nuria Font, director of Mango Home, says, ‘Madrid represents a key step in our expansion plan. With the opening of our first independent store in the region, we are bringing our contemporary and cosy home range to more customers, offering spaces designed to inspire every room in their home’.

The store in the Moraleja Green shopping centre will offer products for every room in the home. Based on Mango Home's value proposition, the collections focus on quality and contemporary style, creating unique products that add warmth and personality to homes, always with the brand's signature Mediterranean spirit and a focus on craftsmanship and timeless design.

In this stage of growth and expansion for physical stores, Mango Home has broadened its range to encompass every room in the home, going from a portfolio of 1,600 products in 2024 to 6,000 in 2025, releasing two collections each year. Following the addition of decoration and kitchenware categories last year, and the introduction of fragrances and a textile collection for babies and children in early 2025, the new autumn/winter collection features new lines of lamps and lighting, mirrors, decorative prints, candles and a wide selection of Christmas products.

The line is dedicated to craftsmanship and collaborating with local suppliers, with over 60% of its products manufactured in Europe. The collection includes pieces such as hand-painted tableware, blown glass, recycled stoneware and hand embroidery, reviving ancestral craft techniques and adding value. Furthermore, Mango Home strengthens its commitment to quality and authenticity by offering unique products resulting from collaborations with artisans, such as Mantas Ezcaray and Yutes.

    Mango in the region

The new opening reinforces Mango's presence in the region of Madrid, where the company currently has 49 stores, with a total sales area of over 28,700 m².
Mango has over 2,900 points of sale worldwide and continues to grow. In the first half of 2025 alone, the company recorded a 12% increase in sales, opened 78 new stores and achieved a turnover of €1.728 billion while investing €110 million.
