Mango Home opens its second store in Barcelona, the third in Spain
-
- Mango Home opens its second standalone store in Barcelona today, in the l’Illa Diagonal Shopping Centre.
- After its recent opening in Zaragoza, and the first on Avenida Diagonal in Barcelona last April, this store is the line's third worldwide, reinforcing the brand's positioning in the homeware sector.
- Since its launch in 2021, Mango Home has tripled in size and now operates in 34 online markets, mainly in Europe and the United States. The line has also expanded its retail range from 1,600 products in 2024 to nearly 6,000 in 2025, with new categories for all rooms in the home, including lighting, baby and kids, and fragrances.
Mango Home, Mango's homeware line, strengthens its presence in the home sector with the opening of its second standalone store in Barcelona, and its third worldwide, located in the l’Illa Diagonal Shopping Centre. Spanning 240 m², the selling space is designed to recreate a home, giving customers the opportunity to explore a range of room-specific proposals for an inspiring shopping experience.
Aligned with the objectives set out in its 2024-2026 4E Strategic Plan, which includes the opening of 500 new stores by 2026, this milestone consolidates the line’s growth and potential, which since its creation in 2021 has tripled in size and is currently present in 34 online markets, mainly in Europe and the United States.
Nuria Font, Director of Mango Home says, ‘Mango Home is a reflection of our commitment to creating contemporary and welcoming homes, where each room is carefully designed to provide a unique experience for our customers. Thanks to our stores, we can be right there with our customers, offering them an immersive and inspiring shopping experience and helping them to decorate every corner of their home’.
At the new store in the l’Illa Diagonal Shopping Centre, customers can find products for every room in the home. Based on Mango Home's value proposition, the collections emphasise quality and contemporary style, featuring products with a unique character that bring warmth and personality to homes. The collections also highlight craftsmanship and timeless design, and the brand's own Mediterranean spirit.
During this stage of growth and expansion of physical stores, the line has expanded its commercial offer to encompass every room in the home, with a portfolio that has grown from 1,600 products in 2024 to 6,000 in 2025, with two new collections per year.
Following the addition of the decoration and homeware categories last year, and the introduction of fragrances and a textile collection for babies and children at the beginning of 2025, the next autumn/winter collection will feature new ranges of lamps and lighting, mirrors, decorative plates, candles and an extensive Christmas collection.
Mango Home is committed to craftsmanship and collaboration with local suppliers, with over 60% of its product made in Europe. The collection features hand-painted tableware, blown glass, recycled stoneware and hand embroidery, as well as other traditional craft techniques that have been revived and enhanced. The line also complements its value proposition with unique, new products resulting from collaborations with artisans, such as Mantas Ezcaray and Yutes.
