Mango, one of the biggest global fashion brands with a presence in more than 120 countries, pays tribute to the memory of Isak Andic, its founder, on the first anniversary of his death. The company highlights his entrepreneurial, human and philanthropic legacy, which continues to inspire the future of Mango and the international fashion community. To mark the occasion, a series of initiatives have been carried out in stores and offices around the world to remember and celebrate the life and work of Isak Andic.
A tribute to Isak from all our collaborators
Mango's collaborators, a fundamental part of the company, have created an audiovisual tribute from hours of archive material and old interviews, sharing Isak's values and teachings through his own voice. The video, shared on their internal channels, can also be viewed on the company’s LinkedIn profile and social media.
Toni Ruiz, President and CEO, shared a letter — internally among employees and externally via LinkedIn— reaffirming Mango's commitment to the vision of its founder and preserving the company's values and culture.
Mango stores, the focal point of tributes to its founderThe tribute to Isak Andic extends to Mango customers, with flagship stores in major capitals around the world commemorating this first anniversary with a tribute to its founder. Specifically, store windows have been covered with a portrait of Isak Andic, along with inspirational images and messages that reflect his legacy.
These flagship stores include those on Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona and Serrano in Madrid, but also Oxford Street in London, Fifth Avenue in New York, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan, Boulevard Haussman in Paris and İstiklal Avenue in Istanbul. For one day, Mango dedicated its most visible feature to the memory of the visionary who founded the company more than 40 years ago.
On digital channels, a black banner has been added to the Mango shopping website (https://shop.mango.com) while the corporate website features a video tribute to Isak made by employees (https://www.mangofashiongroup.com).
Andic's legacy inspires Mango’s success now and into the future
Isak Andic's legacy remains present in the company, which is currently experiencing a period of growth and international expansion. In the first year after the death of its founder, Mango has continued on its path of positive results, achieving double-digit growth and outperforming the market. In the first half of 2025, the company recorded a 12% increase in sales.
Globally, Mango has continued to lead the expansion and refurbishment of its estate, increasing from around 2,850 outlets at the end of 2024 to approximately 3,000 at the end of the current financial year. The company continues to grow, expanding its international presence and its product lines (as demonstrated by the opening of the world’s first physical Mango Home store). All of this has been achieved without losing the philosophy of quality and design that defines its value proposition, with collaborations like Kaia Gerber and the partnership with Casper Ruud helping to elevate the brand's positioning.
The company has also strengthened its leadership in the areas of Online, Women and Men as well as corporate governance, bringing in independent directors with extensive international experience in the fashion sector, including Helena Helmersson, former CEO of the H&M Group, and Manel Adell, former CEO of Desigual.
