Founder of Mango
Isak Andic Ermay (1953 – 2024) was the founder and president of Mango, one of the leading international groups in the fashion industry. Born in 1953 in Istanbul, he moved to Barcelona with his family when he was fourteen years old. After starting in the fashion sector in wholesale and retail, he founded Mango in 1984.
Throughout his career, Andic held positions such as member of the international advisory board of the IESE Business School (IAB), vice president of Banc Sabadell, and member of the International Advisory Board of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Investment Advisory Council for Turkey, and the Fundación Amigos del Museo del Prado. Additionally, he was president of the Instituto de Empresa Familiar from 2010 to April 2012, and trustee of the MACBA Foundation, the Princess of Asturias Foundation, the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC), and the Elena Barraquer Foundation.
