Mango, one of the leading international fashion brands, continues to make progress in its expansion and store remodelling plan in Spain. Today, the company reopens its store at number 7, Calle O'Donnell, in Seville, after a refurbishment and expansion process to incorporate the New Med Mediterranean-inspired image and increase its retail space to more than 900 m2.

The store, opened in 2004 and located in the former Cine-Palacio Central, sells the Woman and Kids lines. With this renovation, Mango introduces in Seville a unique version of its New Med retail concept, adapted to the city through the local uniqueness approach, which connects the space with its local cultural and material context.

Mango's New Med concept aims to reflect the spirit and freshness of the brand and is strongly influenced by Mediterranean culture and style. Sustainability and architectural integration are key to this design that conceives the Mango store as a Mediterranean home with different spaces in which warm tones and neutral colours predominate, combined with traditional, handcrafted, sustainable and natural materials.

The store pays tribute to Sevillian identity thanks to the collaboration with Cerámicas Sevilla 1952, which revives the traditional "edge ceramics" technique, typical of the 15th century and present in historical monuments such as the Palacio de los Marqueses de la Algaba. Mango also wanted to pay tribute to the emblematic building with more than two centuries of history that houses its store, the old Cine-Palacio Central, by conserving the space where the old screen was located, now decorated with theatrical curtains and a new symbolic screen, evoking the atmosphere of the old cinema and reinforcing the emotional link with the local community.

The new store model also meets energy efficiency and sustainability criteria, with solutions designed to minimise the environmental footprint. The point of sale incorporates advanced air-conditioning systems and high-efficiency LED lighting, optimising energy consumption, improving interior comfort and reducing operational emissions.

This reopening is part of the company's 4E 2024-2026 Strategic Plan, which aims to reinforce its differentiated value proposition, drive expansion and improve sales in existing stores and in its online channel.
In addition to the remodelling of the store on O'Donnell street, in recent months Mango has strengthened its presence in Seville with the expansion of its point of sale in the Nervión Plaza shopping centre and the opening of two stand-alone Teen line stores in the Lagoh shopping centre and at number 3 on Calle San Eloy.

Mango currently has 13 points of sale in Seville and 60 in Andalusia, where it opened its first store in 1987 at number 7 Calle Velázquez in Seville, which is still open today. The company closed the 2024 financial year with more than 400 points of sale in Spain and 2,800 worldwide.
