Mango launches the exclusive collection Pernille x Mango

  • Nordic style combines with the Mango DNA in a versatile and timeless collection


    Mango presents the new Pernille x Mango collection, designed by the Mango Girl Pernille Teisbaek. An icon of Nordic style, this stylist, creative director, entrepreneur and mother has collaborated for several years now and has featured in several of the firm’s campaigns.

    On this occasion, she is going one step further and collaborating with the Mango design team to create a collection that combines the Dane's characteristic Nordic style with the brand's DNA. Pernille Teisbaek and the team led by the designer Justicia Ruano have created a capsule of twenty pieces made of sustainable fabrics, such as organic cotton and recycled polyester. An offering of timeless garments that can be integrated within the wardrobe of any woman and worn on different occasions, from work to family and social life.

    “I wanted to create a collection that would endure over time with special pieces. These essentials are, for me, garments that can be worn both during the day and at night, such as jeans, a white t-shirt or a classic tailored jacket”, Pernille says about the garments in the collection.

    In this collection we can find timeless garments to create versatile looks with an urban air, as well as more formal combinations. Highlights include flowing silhouettes with classic cuts, producing a complete wardrobe for this autumn-winter 2021. The colour palette is based on neutral tones, such as whites and beiges, while lead blue and black appear in total looks or individual garments.

    “Working with Pernille was easy from the first moment and we created with good harmony and lots of motivation. The most important thing is that she shares the same values of quality, femininity and sustainability we have at Mango”, Justicia Ruano, the Woman Design Director, says about the creation process.

    The exclusive collection is available on the official website and in selected stores in countries such as Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Poland, Turkey, UAE, the United States and Spain.
