The Fashion Pact

Mango has been part of the Fashion Pact since 2019. The Fashion Pact is a global pact signed by numerous fashion and textile companies, which aims to collectively promote environmental sustainability within the sector.

AITEX

Mango has been collaborating with Aitex since 2001. The Textile Industry Research Association is a private research and certification body for textile articles and materials that aims to generate technological knowledge and transfer it to companies.

ZDHC

Mango has been a partner in the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals programme since 2021. This is a collaborative industry effort committed to eliminating harmful chemicals from the supply chain.

Amfori

Mango has been a member of the association since 2017. Amfori, Trade with purpose is an asssociation that provides comprehensive commercial, social and environmental services to improve the resilience and sustainability of the global sourcing strategy.

Sedex

Mango has been working with Sedex since 2018. Sedex is an organisation that provides an online platform for companies in the industry to manage and improve working conditions in their global supply chains.

International Accord (Bangladesh Accord)

Mango has been a signatory to this international agreement since 2021, although it had already joined the Bangladesh Accord in 2013. The International Accord for Health and Safety in the Textile and Garment Industry is a binding agreement that aims to make factories safe.

UN Charter for Climate Action

Mango signed the Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action in 2020. The charter aims to bring the fashion industry to zero net emissions by 2050, in line with maintaining global warming below 1.5 degrees.

SBTi: Science-Based Targets Initiative

Mango has been working with the Science Best Targets initiative (SBTi) since 2022. The initiative defines and promotes best practices in emissions reduction and zero emissions targets in line with climate science, offering different resources to the private sector.

CDP Carbon Disclosure Project

Mango has been a member of CDP since 2022. CDP is an independent, not-for-profit organisation with the world's largest database of corporate climate change information.

BCI Better Cotton Initiative

Since 2018, Mango has been a member of Better Cotton, which aims to help cotton communities survive and thrive while protecting and restoring the environment. This initiative aims to transform global cotton production.

Cascale

In 2020, Mango joined Cascale, a leading organisation in the textile sector that aims to promote good practices in the supply chain and measure the environmental and social impact of brands.

Canopy Style protección de bosques

In 2021, Mango joined this initiative. Canopy is an organisation that works with the forest industry's largest consumers and suppliers to develop solutions that protect forests.

Moda-re (Koopera & Cáritas)

Mango has been collaborating with Moda-re since 2015. This entity, which reports to Cáritas and Koopera, carries out the integral management of used clothing (collection, classification, reuse, recycling, social donation and sale).

I:CO

In 2022, Mango established a collaborative partnership with I:CO, a company specialising in providing solutions for the collection, reuse and recycling of used clothing and footwear.

Social Fashion Forum (Foro Social de la Moda)

Mango has been a member of the Fashion Social Forum since 2018. This platform was set up to defend the fundamental rights of workers in the textile industry.

CCOO Comisiones Obreras

In 2018, Mango signed a groundbreaking agreement with the CCOO General Secretariat for Industry in which the company committed to strengthening and protecting the rights of workers who make the company's products around the world.

Respon.cat for the development of CSR in Catalonia

Mango has been a member of Respon.cat since 2014. It is an organisation that aims to involve the companies and business organisations most committed to Social Responsibility, in order to promote a qualitative and quantitative advance in CSR in Catalonia.

Mango CSR Chair (ESCI-UPF)

In 2006, Mango signed a collaboration agreement with ESCI-UPF creating the Mango Chair of Corporate Social Responsibility. The main objective of this chair is to generate knowledge about the sustainability of economic and business activity.

Spanish Network of the United Nations Global Compact

Mango has been a member of the Spanish Global Compact Network since 2003. This network brings together the Spanish entities that have signed up to the United Nations Global Compact, which is the largest voluntary corporate social responsibility initiative in the world.

Fur Free Alliance

Mango joined the Fur Free Alliance in 2021, a coalition of more than 55 organisations that aims to end the exploitation and killing of animals for fur.

Ellen MacArthur Foundation

Mango joined the Ellen MacArthur Foundation Network in 2022, which brings together businesses, policymakers, innovators, universities, cities, philanthropic organisations and opinion leaders to build and scale a circular economy.

Conservation International

Mango teamed up with Conservation International, a global environmental non-profit organisation, in 2023 to help protect 1,500 hectares of forests around the world, the equivalent of the extension of four Central Parks in New York, in places like the Brazilian Amazon, Cambodia and China. Through the conservation and restoration of vital forest ecosystems, this partnership is an important part of the company’s commitment to protect our planet’s vital biodiversity

ReHubs

In 2023, Mango joined ReHubs, an association that aims to create a synergistic collective based on recycling centres in Europe to recycle textile waste and industrially scale up the collection, sorting, processing and recycling of pre-consumer and post-consumer materials.

Textile Exchange

Since 2023, Mango has been a member of Textile Exchange, a global not-for-profit organisation that promotes a positive impact on the environment and the textile and fashion industry by focusing on the fibres and materials used. It is one of the benchmark organisations in the adoption of lower-impact materials.

The Microfibre Consortium

Since 2023, Mango is a member of The Microfibre Consortium, a private organisation working to achieve zero impact of fibre fragmentation from textiles to the environment. TMC connects and translates in-depth academic research with the reality of commercial supply chain production.
